Jamie Brian Paterson: A Lifelong Resident of Hyde Park

Jamie Brian Paterson, a beloved member of the Hyde Park community, passed away recently. Born in Poughkeepsie to Daniel M. Paterson and Linda J. (Steele) Paterson, Jamie was a lifelong resident of Hyde Park.

A Life of Achievements

Paterson graduated from FDR High School in Hyde Park in 1994 and went on to attend Dutchess Community College. After completing his education, he joined Southern Westchester BOCES in Rye Brook, where he worked as a systems engineer in their IT department. Jamie was a dedicated and valued employee, contributing his skills and expertise to the organization.

A Life Well-Lived

Outside of work, Jamie enjoyed various hobbies and spending quality time with his loved ones. His obituary mentions that he had a passion for camping, bowling, and cherished moments with his family. He actively participated in the Juniors Bowling League at Spins Bowl in Poughkeepsie and even volunteered as a coach for his nephew’s T-ball team.

Survived by his mother Linda, brother Carey Paterson, girlfriend Kelly Stewart, sister Jodie Wilson, and her husband Brian, Jamie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He had a special bond with his nephew, Ethan Paterson, who was his best buddy.
