Tom Johnson, a renowned writer and stand-up comic, known for his work on “The Daily Show” and “The Jeselnik Offensive,” has sadly passed away at the age of 55.
Early Career and Comedy Success
Johnson’s comedic talent was first discovered in the early days of his career when he performed at the Comedy Cellar before making a name for himself as a writer on “The Daily Show.” His exceptional writing skills and comedic timing quickly made him a vital part of the team.
He later went on to work as an executive producer and head writer on the popular comedy podcast, “WTF with Marc Maron.” During his time on the show, Johnson created countless hilarious bits that became fan favorites.
