Eugene “Gene” Gilmore: A Dedicated Booster and Founding Member of Walpole High School Lacrosse
Walpole High School Lacrosse is deeply saddened by the passing of Eugene “Gene” Gilmore, one of our first boosters and a founding member of our program. Mr. Gilmore’s unwavering commitment to the town of Walpole and his dedication to our lacrosse team has left an indelible mark on our community.
As one of the original boosters, Gene Gilmore played a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of our lacrosse program. His passion for the sport and his love for the town of Walpole inspired many others to join our team and support our endeavors. Without his tireless efforts, we would not be where we are today.
Gene Gilmore’s legacy extends far beyond his involvement with Walpole High School Lacrosse. He was a respected member of our community, known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication. His impact on the lives of those who knew him, both on and off the field, cannot be overstated.
