Prior to his political career, he worked as a Public Relations Officer, a Regional Information Officer, and a Minister Counselor for Information at the Ghana High Commission in London.
Mark Woyongo’s dedication to public service extended beyond politics. He served as a member of the National Anniversary Planning Committee in 2005 and held the position of Board Chairman of the Irrigation Company of the Upper East Region (ICOUR) in 2010. Additionally, he was a member of the Police Council, the Armed Forces Council, and the National Security Council.
