Accident – Death – Obituary News : Authorities have apprehended an entire chapter of Hells Angels Motorcycle Club members in Bakersfield on charges of kidnapping and robbery as part of a widespread investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
The collaborative effort, which included officials from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Kern County Sheriff’s Office, and the California Highway Patrol, resulted in the arrest of six individuals in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Over 150 law enforcement officers descended upon eight different locations, where they apprehended the suspects and confiscated more than two dozen firearms, ammunition, numerous high-capacity magazines, and gang-related paraphernalia, as per a statement from the ATF.
The arrested individuals were identified as Ricardo Alvarez (42), Armando Villasenor (55), Joseph Soto Sr. (57), Joseph Soto Jr. (33), Joshua Zavala (31), and John Seeger (57), all hailing from Bakersfield. Additionally, Joshua Vaughn (37), a seventh member, was already in custody on unrelated charges.
Alvarez, Villasenor, Soto Sr., Soto Jr., and Zavala are confirmed active and patched members of the Bakersfield chapter of Hells Angels. Vaughn and Seeger are affiliated with the Sons of Hell Motorcycle club, a sub-group that follows the directives of Hells Angels leadership.
All seven suspects have been charged with a litany of offenses, including kidnapping, first-degree robbery, making criminal threats, false imprisonment, assault with a firearm, participation in a criminal street gang, criminal conspiracy, intimidating a witness or victim, and elder abuse.
Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, limited details have been disclosed, and the charges have been forwarded to the Kern County District Attorney’s Office for further action.
