LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A devastating incident occurred on Friday night in Las Vegas, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist.
According to Nevada State Police, the tragic event took place at 7:22 p.m. near Flamingo Road to the U.S. 95 northbound on-ramp in the east part of the valley.
Reports indicate that a 25-year-old man, identified as Tristan Warren Ruble, was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle heading westbound on Flamingo Road, in the far right lane, with the intention of accessing the U.S. 95 northbound on-ramp.
Nevada State Police stated that the young man was travelling at an excessive speed for the road conditions as he navigated a curve, leading to a collision with a concrete median wall. The impact caused him to be thrown from the motorcycle.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported Ruble to a local hospital for medical treatment. However, despite their efforts, he was tragically pronounced dead at the hospital.
This heartbreaking incident marks the 34th fatal crash that Nevada State Police have investigated in 2024, resulting in a total of 42 fatalities.
