A suspect has been located in connection with a tragic shooting incident in North Las Vegas on Monday night. The incident resulted in the deaths of five individuals and left a teenage girl critically wounded, according to police reports.
Authorities were alerted to the shooting at an apartment complex on Casa Norte Drive shortly after 10 p.m. Two women, aged in their early 40s and late 50s, were found with gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a 13-year-old girl was discovered with critical injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Further investigation by detectives led to the discovery of additional victims in a nearby apartment. Two women in their mid-20s and a man in his early 20s were found with fatal gunshot wounds. The identities of the victims and the specific details of their deaths will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office in due course.
Suspect identified
The suspect in the shooting has been identified as 47-year-old Eric Adams. Police have confirmed that Adams has been located and is no longer considered a threat to the community.
