Accident – Death – Obituary News : Law enforcement authorities in Texas are currently investigating a puzzling case involving an 18-year-old man named Aaron Richard. Richard was found in an old pickup truck covered in a significant amount of dried blood, leading to his arrest on charges of driving while intoxicated.

The incident took place in Tarrant County, where deputies responded to a major accident on FM 2871 near Interstate 20 in the early hours of June 24. Upon arriving at the scene, first responders discovered Richard in the white Chevrolet pickup truck, with both the driver and the vehicle covered in dried blood.

Despite being uncooperative when questioned about the source of the blood, Richard was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated. The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office released a statement detailing the extent of the blood found on the pickup truck and the suspect, along with a description of the vehicle involved.

The white Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Richard was identified as a 1997 single cab model with Texas license plates reading DFH2650. The vehicle displayed noticeable damage to the driver’s side door, tailgate, and front left quarter panel, with a traffic cone found in the bed of the pickup. Additionally, there was white writing on the back window, reading “SNAP,” followed by “CalebR” and “Young12.”

It is unclear at this time whether Richard is suspected of harming another individual or if investigators believe anyone is in danger. The sheriff’s office has not provided further details on the case, but they are urging anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigation Division.

Despite posting bond for the driving while intoxicated charge, Richard remains in detention at the Lon Evans Corrections Center. At the time of his arrest, he was serving probation for a disorderly conduct conviction, which was set to end in July.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the strange circumstances surrounding Richard’s arrest and are appealing to the public for any relevant information. If you have any details that could assist in this case, please contact the sheriff’s office at 817-884-1305.
