Accident – Death – Obituary News :

When 23-year-old Amy Lynn Bradley vanished on a cruise ship in 1998, her family and friends were left with a gaping hole in their hearts, unsure if they would ever see her again.

Despite the passing of time, Amy’s loved ones have refused to give up hope of uncovering the truth behind her disappearance. Recently, they have expressed renewed desperation, holding on to a glimmer of hope that a mysterious tip they received seven years after she went missing could finally shed light on the dark mystery.

Amy, along with her mother Iva, father Ron, and brother Bradley, had been on a family holiday in the Caribbean when tragedy struck. They were aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas cruise ship, starting their journey in Puerto Rico and heading towards Aruba.

After enjoying several days of tropical paradise, the family’s excitement turned to despair when Amy, a trained lifeguard, disappeared in broad daylight.

The last sighting of Amy was in the early hours of March 24, when she was found asleep on her private balcony after a night of partying on board. Just thirty minutes later, she was nowhere to be found.

The cruise ship staff launched a frantic search for Amy, hoping that her distinctive tattoos would aid in her identification. Despite their efforts, Amy remained elusive, and the ship had to continue its journey to St Martin and St Thomas before returning to San Juan.

It wasn’t until 2005, seven years after Amy’s disappearance, that the Bradley family received a chilling tip-off. The authorities had obtained a series of photographs of a woman who appeared to have been a victim of sex trafficking. The woman bore a striking resemblance to Amy, with long black hair and posing in lingerie.

The images, later featured on the US talk show Dr Phil, were traced back to a defunct website advertising adult holidays in the Caribbean. The woman in the photos was identified as ‘Jas’.

Concerned that Amy may have fallen victim to human trafficking, her parents have offered a $25,000 reward for any information leading to her whereabouts. As Amy would have turned 50, her family remains steadfast in their quest for answers.

In a public appeal, Amy’s mother Iva expressed the family’s daily hope: “We get up every single day with the thought that maybe today, we’ll find Amy.”
