Authorities from the Maine State Police are currently looking into a tragic three-vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday in Limington, Maine. The incident resulted in the death of a passenger who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash took place at the intersection of Route 117 and Route 11 in Limington. According to reports, three vehicles were involved in the collision, with one of the vehicles veering off the roadway and crashing into a nearby house.

Details provided by Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss revealed that a Subaru Impreza and a Lexus RX300 were travelling in opposite directions on Route 11, while a Jeep Cherokee was heading north on Route 117 at the time of the accident.

Tragically, a passenger seated in the back of the Subaru, identified as 32-year-old Casey Lubell from Ipswitch, Massachusetts, sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Additionally, three other individuals who were travelling in the Subaru, along with the driver of the Lexus, were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have refrained from disclosing specific details of the crash as the investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic incident. Maine State Police were assisted in their response efforts by Gorham police, Limington Fire and Rescue, Hollis Fire and Rescue, and Standish Fire and Rescue.
