A man from Massachusetts is currently facing multiple charges following a crash that occurred in a Dunkin’ drive-thru on Tuesday.

According to the Cohasset Police Department, a pick-up truck collided with another vehicle in the drive-thru. Witnesses at the scene observed that the truck was still in gear and its tires were spinning, prompting them to call 911. Reports indicated that the driver of the pick-up truck was experiencing a seizure.

Fortunately, bystanders were able to intervene and put the pick-up truck in park. Police officers immediately provided emergency assistance to the driver, who was later identified as 28-year-old Alex Neumeier from Halifax. Upon further inspection, law enforcement discovered a crack pipe and other drug paraphernalia in the vicinity of the driver.

Neumeier was swiftly transported to South Shore Hospital for medical evaluation. During a search of the truck, officials uncovered a substantial amount of white powder believed to be cocaine.

Following the incident, Neumeier was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking in class B drugs exceeding 100 grams, operating under the influence of drugs (OUI), and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
