Accident – Death – Obituary News : NEW DELHI: Anu, a street-smart, talkative, and tech-savvy individual, has made headlines as she climbed the ranks within the notorious gang led by Himanshu Bhau. The gang gained infamy for the brazen murder of Aman Joon at a Burger King outlet in Delhi just last week.

Reports indicate that during the fatal shootout, where 38 bullets were mercilessly pumped into Aman Joon, Anu displayed remarkable composure. She even managed to slip Aman’s phone into her pocket and escape from the scene alongside the two shooters.

Interestingly, it was Anu who enticed Aman through one of her Instagram accounts, orchestrating their meeting at the Rajouri Garden eatery where the tragic murder unfolded.

CCTV footage captured Anu calmly manipulating Aman’s phone while the two shooters sat silently, strategically waiting for the opportune moment to carry out the hit.

Hailing from Rohtak district in Haryana, Anu is currently facing multiple criminal charges, including an alleged extortion attempt on a prominent sweetshop owner in Haryana—a case purportedly involving Himanshu Bhau.

Following the execution at the Burger King outlet, the Delhi Crime Branch team conducted visits to Anu’s residence in Rohtak and the paying guest accommodation she had been residing in for the past few days in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar. An officer disclosed that she had utilized a counterfeit Aadhar card to secure the accommodation in Mukherjee Nagar.

It was unveiled by the authorities that Anu is a psychology graduate with a consistent record of academic excellence.

The ongoing search for the elusive ‘mystery girl’ Anu intensifies as investigators suspect that she, alongside the identified shooters Ashish and Vicky, might be plotting to flee the country with Bhau’s assistance.

The West District police’s technical investigation unveiled that Anu had created a fake Instagram account under the alias Preeti to establish contact with Joon. Managing at least 15 accounts on the platform under various names, it suggests she may be targeting individuals on Bhau’s directives. Bhau had previously hinted on Instagram about additional targets lined up for elimination.

Anu swiftly returned to her PG accommodation in northwest Delhi within an hour of the fatal incident and was captured on CCTV at different locations. Upon the police’s arrival at her PG in Mukherjee Nagar, it was discovered that she had already departed, citing a family emergency. The PG owner was instructed to hand her security deposit to a confidant.

Though Anu’s surname is Dhankad, she is commonly known by her first name. Her family had previously filed a habeas corpus writ in court when she went missing, only to unveil later that she had joined Bhau’s syndicate.

The surveillance footage from inside the eatery reveals Anu tampering with Joon’s phone while the two shooters positioned themselves at a table nearby.

One of the shooters abruptly rose and commenced firing from behind, prompting Joon to seek refuge towards the billing counter.

Anu remained composed and departed the restaurant alongside other patrons as the shooters pursued Joon, firing recklessly in a crowded venue, narrowly averting a catastrophe. Subsequently leaving the establishment, Anu was observed heading to a nearby metro station, boarding a train to Azadpur, transferring trains, and ultimately alighting at GTB Nagar metro station. An inspector detailed her interaction with an autorickshaw driver, requesting transportation to Kashmere Gate ISBT.

In a dramatic turn of events, Anu managed to evade the authorities in Jammu, narrowly escaping apprehension at Katra station. Boarding the last coach of a Mumbai-bound train, suspicions arose of her intentions to rendezvous with shooters Ashish and Vicky, possibly plotting to abscond the country.

Anu, the mastermind behind luring target Aman Joon to the restaurant on June 18, hastily fled to Jammu that night and sought refuge at a guest house in Katra the subsequent day. Surveillance footage from the station captured her briskly traversing the platform, carrying a trolley bag and backpack, attired in a neon green top, black trousers, and a scarf. She successfully boarded the Bombay Swaraj Express as it departed at 10.06 am on June 20.

Notably, criminal syndicates in North India are increasingly enlisting women in their operations against targets. Kingpins scout for women on social media intrigued by crime and criminals, subsequently incorporating them into the syndicate. Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates pioneered this trend, leveraging their social media prominence to recruit women contributing to the gang’s activities. Bishnoi’s rival, Himanshu Bhau, has emulated this approach by engaging Anu in his criminal endeavors.

The captivating saga of Anu, the enigmatic figure at the heart of a harrowing crime, continues to captivate and intrigue as the search for her intensifies..
