(KRON) – A burglar who made off with $900 from a seafood restaurant in Daly City has been apprehended by authorities, as reported by the Daly City Police Department.
Commercial Burglary at Shaking Crab
Responding to a report of a commercial burglary, Daly City PD arrived at Shaking Crab on Southgate Avenue at 1:50 a.m. on June 12. The manager of the seafood restaurant informed the police that an individual had forcibly entered the premises through the front door.
Cash Stolen from Register and Drawer
According to the manager, the suspect made their way to the register and drawer, making off with a total of $900 in cash. The brazen act of theft left the staff at Shaking Crab shocked and concerned.
Arrest of the Suspect
Acting swiftly on the information provided by the manager, Daly City PD managed to locate a suspect matching the description inside a nearby restaurant. Upon confirmation of the suspect’s identity by the manager, the individual was taken into custody.
Identity of the Suspect Revealed
The suspect, a 42-year-old resident of San Francisco, was identified following their arrest. In addition to the charges related to the burglary at Shaking Crab, the individual was found to be in possession of burglary tools and had outstanding warrants against them.
