An Akali leader, identified as Kulvir Singh Mann, shocked the community of Barnala, Punjab on Saturday, June 22, when he tragically took the lives of his elderly mother, his daughter, and even his beloved pet dog before turning the gun on himself. The harrowing incident unfolded around 6:30 pm, as revealed by the police investigation.
The shocking discovery was made by Kulvir’s wife, Ramandeep Kaur Mann, who returned home at approximately 7:15 pm. Upon finding the main gate locked from the inside and receiving no response from her family members, she sought help from neighbours. It was then that the gruesome scene was uncovered, sending shockwaves through the neighbourhood.
According to Ramandeep, Kulvir had been battling depression for over a decade and had previously undergone surgery. The tragic events were captured by CCTV footage, which showed Kulvir first shooting his 21-year-old daughter, then his 85-year-old mother, and even his pet dog, before ultimately taking his own life.
