A 23-year-old man from Bangladesh, who had disappeared from a hotel in Kolkata last week, has been located by the police, according to an official statement on June 23.
The individual, identified as Mohammed Dilwar Hossain, was discovered near the State-run SSKM Hospital in the Rabindra Sadan area late on Saturday evening, as confirmed by a senior officer of the Kolkata Police.
“He suffers from neurological disorders and is currently receiving treatment at SSKM Hospital. He was found wandering near the medical facility,” explained the police officer.
Mr. Hossain, who had travelled to Kolkata for medical purposes, went missing on Wednesday evening from a hotel located on Free School Street.
Following his discovery, his father was able to positively identify him, after which he was admitted to SSKM Hospital for further medical care, as per the officer’s statement.
This incident highlights the importance of prompt action by law enforcement authorities in locating missing individuals, especially those with medical conditions that require immediate attention.
