A man has been arrested in Colma after joyriding in a vehicle that was reported stolen from San Diego, according to the Colma Police Department.
Automatic License Plate Reader Alert
At 9:21 a.m., the Colma PD received an automatic license plate reader FLOCK alert about a vehicle entering the city of Colma. The vehicle was flagged as stolen from San Diego, prompting immediate action from law enforcement.
Vehicle Located and Felony Stop Conducted
Colma PD officers swiftly located the stolen vehicle near Junipero Serra Boulevard and Colma Boulevard. They initiated a felony stop at the location, with one individual found inside the vehicle.
Suspect identified and Arrested
The driver of the stolen vehicle was identified as 34-year-old Thiago Cachetaorlando, a resident of Daly City. Cachetaorlando was taken into custody by the Colma PD and subsequently booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
