A man has been arrested by Toronto police after allegedly peering into the bedroom window of a woman late at night, in two separate incidents.
Incidents Details
According to police reports, the first incident occurred on June 2 around midnight near the intersection of Spadina Avenue and College Street.
Reports indicate that the female victim was inside her bedroom when she noticed the suspect looking into her window. Upon being spotted, the suspect quickly fled the scene.
The second incident took place on June 7 at approximately 12:25 a.m. The woman once again saw the man peering into her bedroom window and promptly called the authorities. The suspect was soon located and apprehended.
Suspect Arrested
The arrested individual has been identified as 57-year-old William Shorten from Toronto. Shorten now faces charges of two counts of trespassing at night and one count of possession of a break-in instrument.
