OCALA, Fla. – A man has been apprehended following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Ocala, as per the local authorities.
According to reports, on the 16th of June, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the Marathon convenience store located at 3620 E Silver Springs Blvd in response to an armed robbery incident.
After receiving a description of the suspect from a 911 dispatcher, the individual was identified as 22-year-old Johnisaac Felix.
Upon spotting Felix changing his attire near a nearby church, an officer instructed him to halt his movements, but the suspect attempted to flee the scene.
Subsequently, Felix was subdued with a taser and law enforcement officials discovered stolen cash from the store along with a firearm in his possession.
Felix was taken into custody on charges of armed robbery and resisting arrest without violence. He was later booked into the Marion County Jail.
