Accident – Death – Obituary News : A woman in New Jersey has been charged after causing a disturbance at a motel pool, which resulted in her attacking a 10-year-old boy, his father, and even biting a police officer, according to authorities.
The incident took place at a motel in the 6200 block of Ocean Avenue in Wildwood Crest, where police responded to reports of a fight on Monday afternoon. Witnesses described the woman, identified as 43-year-old Fallan Turner, as being highly intoxicated and “out of control” in the pool.
Upon arrival, officers found Turner grabbing the young boy and swinging him around in the pool before shoving him underwater. When the boy’s father intervened, Turner jumped on his back and engaged in inappropriate behavior.
As police attempted to speak with Turner, she became increasingly belligerent, leading to her arrest. During the arrest, she resisted by pushing one of the officers in the face.
Following her arrest, Turner was taken to Wildwood Crest Police headquarters for processing. However, she continued to display uncooperative and combative behavior, eventually biting one of the officer’s hands.
Fortunately, the officers did not sustain any significant injuries during the altercation. Turner now faces a range of charges, including endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest with force, criminal sexual contact, failure to allow fingerprinting, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
She has been remanded to the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending further legal proceedings.
