Three individuals tragically lost their lives, while eight others sustained injuries in a devastating shooting that took place at a grocery store in south Arkansas on Friday, as confirmed by local authorities.
According to reports from Nexstar’s KARK, among the wounded were two law enforcement officers who were on duty at the Mad Butcher grocery store in Fordyce. Fortunately, they are expected to recover from their injuries.
The alleged shooter, identified as 44-year-old Travis Posey, was confronted by law enforcement officers, resulting in his apprehension after being wounded in the incident, as stated by Arkansas State Police.
