Accident – Death – Obituary News :
Authorities in Indianapolis have identified the man who was fatally shot in an incident that took place in a parking lot of an apartment complex. The victim has been named as 21-year-old Kiyon James William Davidson.
Police responded to the scene and found Davidson on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Disturbance Leads to Shooting
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), the shooting occurred following a disturbance involving multiple individuals in the parking lot of the apartments. The exact nature of the altercation has not been disclosed.
Suspect Apprehended in Gary, Indiana
An update from IMPD revealed that homicide detectives were able to identify a person of interest in the case. The suspect was tracked to a residence in Gary, Indiana, where he was taken into custody without incident on June 13.
At this time, police have not disclosed the specific charges that the suspect may face in relation to the shooting.
