Human Arm Found on Waukegan Beach identified as Missing Woman in Milwaukee Murder Case

WAUKEGAN, Ill. — The discovery of a human arm on a Waukegan beach has taken a grim turn as DNA testing has linked the arm to Sade Robinson, a 19-year-old woman who was reported missing in April and later identified as a victim in a Milwaukee murder case.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) informed the Lake County Coroner’s Office (LCCO) about the DNA match on Tuesday morning, as stated in a press release issued by the LCCO.

Following the confirmation of the DNA results, Robinson’s family was promptly notified by the MCSO in coordination with the LCCO.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office revealed that the arm was initially discovered on Saturday, May 11, around 8:30 p.m. Authorities were promptly called to Waukegan Municipal Beach to retrieve the arm, which was found to be mostly intact. A forensic analysis was conducted to ascertain the victim’s gender and age range, leading to the conclusive identification of Sade Robinson.

Condolences from the Lake County Coroner

Lake County Coroner Jennifer Banek expressed her heartfelt condolences to Sade’s family and friends, who continue to endure the tragic loss of their loved one.

Previously reported by the Associated Press, Maxwell Anderson, a 33-year-old individual, is facing charges in connection with the Milwaukee murder cases that involved Sade Robinson as one of the victims.

Charges Against Maxwell Anderson

Maxwell Anderson is currently in custody facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson related to the death of Sade Robinson, as indicated in a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County circuit court.

Anderson, a resident of Milwaukee, was apprehended on April 4, just two days after a passerby discovered a severed leg at Warnimont Park near Lake Michigan in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The leg was found just below the hip.

Robinson was reported missing on April 2 by a friend. An individual working in the same building where Robinson resided informed authorities that she had been excited about a planned date on April 1.

Surveillance footage from a local restaurant captured Robinson and Anderson seated together at the bar on the evening of April 1. Robinson’s burnt car was located the following morning.

Assurance from Milwaukee County Sheriff

Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball previously stated to the media in April that there are no indications of additional victims related to the case at this time.

The latest developments in the investigation have shed light on the tragic fate of Sade Robinson, providing closure to her family and friends as they come to terms with the loss of a beloved daughter, sister, and friend.
