A tragic incident unfolded in Brahmanakotkur village in Nandyal district as a 45-year-old man took his own life by hanging from a tree on Thursday morning. The victim, identified as Kumari Chandramouli, was a resident of Sathanakota village under Brahmanakotkur police station limits.
According to SI Nagarjuna, Chandramouli had been grappling with family issues for some time, which had left him feeling overwhelmed and despondent. Unable to find a resolution to his problems, he made the fateful decision to end his life by hanging himself from a tree on the outskirts of the village.
The grim discovery was made by a few villagers who came across Chandramouli’s lifeless body hanging from the tree. They promptly informed both the victim’s family members and the local police authorities. Upon arrival at the scene, the police moved the body to Nandikotkur government hospital for a postmortem examination.
Following a formal complaint lodged by the deceased’s family members, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Chandramouli’s untimely death.
