The investigation leading to the raid began in 2023 after an officer pulled over a vehicle whose occupant revealed they had just visited a “casino” in the area. Following this tip-off, undercover officers confirmed the presence of illicit gambling activities at the establishment.
Arrests and Charges
The 66-year-old owner of the establishment, hailing from Duluth, was charged with commercial gambling, while a 40-year-old employee from Auburn also faced similar charges. Additionally, eight other individuals were arrested and charged with participating in illegal gambling activities. The operation also resulted in the confiscation of drugs and a significant amount of money.
