Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A group of Tae Kwon Do instructors in Cypress, Houston, are being praised for their heroic actions in stopping an attempted sexual assault at a local business. The incident, which took place in broad daylight, saw the instructors from AYT An’s Yong-In Tae Kwon Do Cypress spring into action to rescue a woman in distress.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez took to social media to share details of the incident, revealing that the attacker, identified as 19-year-old Alex Robinson, had tried to sexually assault the woman. The victim screamed for help, prompting one of the instructors to rush to her aid.

Upon arriving at the scene, the instructors found the woman inside the Cricket Wireless store next to the dojo, with Robinson still present. They quickly removed the woman from harm’s way and managed to subdue Robinson until law enforcement officers arrived.

Robinson appeared in probable cause court overnight Thursday, where a judge set his bond at $100,000. During the hearing, a Harris County prosecutor recounted how the instructors had intervened to save the victim from her attacker, with one of them sustaining multiple bites from Robinson in the process.

The judge imposed several conditions on Robinson, including a prohibition on contacting the woman, possessing drugs or weapons, and going near the business or schools associated with the incident. The swift and brave actions of the Tae Kwon Do instructors have been widely praised, with the community commending their courage and quick thinking in a dangerous situation.
