A devastating accident took place in Clinton Township, Hunterdon County, on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the loss of a Pennsylvania man’s life. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the unfortunate incident.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Route 31 in close proximity to Riley & Jake’s restaurant. Reports indicate that a dump truck was involved in a collision with a Toyota sedan, which subsequently collided with a Volkswagen, causing a chain reaction of events.
The passenger of the Toyota, identified as 70-year-old Arthur Latzko from Stroudsburg, tragically lost his life in the crash. The impact of the collision proved fatal for Latzko, leaving a void in the hearts of his loved ones.
Fortunately, the driver of the Toyota and the occupants of the Volkswagen sustained minor injuries in the accident. They were promptly attended to and received necessary medical treatment for their injuries.
