Authorities in Saskatchewan have disclosed that a tragic incident occurred over the weekend near Regina, resulting in a fatality.
On the evening of June 15, at approximately 11:15 p.m., White Butte RCMP received a distressing report regarding a vehicle collision in the vicinity of the Highway 624 overpass on Highway 1 – situated around four kilometres east of Regina.
Upon receiving the report, law enforcement officers swiftly mobilised to the scene, alongside local fire personnel and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Tragically, the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The deceased individual has been identified as a young male. In consideration of the family’s privacy, authorities have refrained from disclosing further details, stating that the family has been duly notified.
