The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina has recently made an additional arrest in connection to a triple homicide that occurred in Walterboro. Justin Dupont, 23, has been arrested and charged with three counts of murder, along with his co-defendant Jameek Glover, whose charges have been upgraded to three counts of murder by the deputies.
Details of the Incident
The tragic incident took place on May 18 in the 100 block of Hayden Street, where three victims were found deceased. Authorities revealed that the victims, identified as 49-year-old Harvel Breland, 43-year-old Alisha Gardner, and a two-year-old child, were shot to death in what appeared to be a targeted attack.
Following the murders, law enforcement officials released an image of a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident. The vehicle was later located, and it was identified as being registered to Jameek Glover, who was initially charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder. However, the charges have now been upgraded to three counts of murder.
Legal Proceedings
Both Justin Dupont and Jameek Glover are currently in custody at the Colleton County Detention Center. A bond hearing for the two defendants has been scheduled for Wednesday at 3 p.m.
