Justin Dupont : “Colleton Co. Triple Homicide: Toddler Killed, Murder Charges”

The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office has announced a significant development in the investigation of last month’s tragic triple homicide in Charleston, South Carolina. Justin Dupont, a 23-year-old resident of Walterboro, has been arrested and charged with three counts of murder in connection to the incident.

The incident took place on May 18 in the early hours of the morning, when authorities responded to reports of three deceased individuals in the 100 block of Hayden Street. The victims were identified as Harvel Breland, 49, Alisha Gardner, 43, and 2-year-old Asiyra Cole, all of whom were found shot to death in what investigators believe to be a targeted attack.

In addition to Dupont’s arrest, Jameek Glover, who was initially charged with accessory after the fact of murder, has now had his charges upgraded to three counts of murder in relation to the same incident.

Following the initial murders, detectives released an image of a vehicle of interest in the homicide, which was later identified as belonging to Glover, leading to his arrest and the subsequent upgrade of his charges.

Authorities have confirmed that a third suspect is still at large in connection with the triple homicide, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend them and bring them to justice.

Both Dupont and Glover are currently being held at the Colleton County Jail awaiting a bond hearing. At this time, Dupont’s mugshot has not been made available to the public.
