A heartbreaking incident unfolded near the Sulibhanjan Dattadham Temple in Sambhaji Nagar, located 340.3 kilometers from Mumbai, resulting in the untimely demise of a young woman who was filming for a social media reel. The tragic accident took place on Monday afternoon, June 17, around 2 pm.

The victim, identified as 23-year-old Shweta Deepak Surwase, a resident of Hanuman Nagar, Sambhaji Nagar, was accompanied by her friend Shivraj Sanjay Mule, 25, at the time of the fatal incident. The duo had driven to the area with the intention of capturing footage for their social media reel.

Unfortunately, a devastating turn of events occurred while attempting to reverse the vehicle. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the car slipped, exerting inadvertent pressure on the accelerator, causing it to overturn and plunge into the valley below. Tragically, Shweta succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident.

In a separate incident in Mumbai, a tragic collision occurred on Sunday when a speeding chemical tanker collided with a scooter on the National Park Bridge of Mumbai’s Western Express Highway, resulting in the loss of two lives. The tanker driver has been apprehended by Kasturba Marg Police on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The collision unfolded as the tanker rear-ended a Suzuki Burgman scooter on the southbound side of the National Park Bridge in Borivali (East) on Sunday afternoon. The victims, who were close friends hailing from Bhayander East, were en route to purchase clothing for a friend when the devastating accident transpired, causing severe head injuries to both individuals.
