Young woman tragically dies in car accident while filming social media reel

Mumbai: A tragic incident occurred near Sulibhanjan Dattadham Temple in Sambhaji Nagar, located 340.3 km away from Mumbai, where a young woman lost her life in a car mishap while attempting to film a social media reel on her mobile phone. The unfortunate accident took place on Monday afternoon, June 17, around 2 PM.
The victim, identified as Shweta Deepak Surwase, a 23-year-old resident of Hanuman Nagar, Sambhaji Nagar, was accompanied by her friend Shivraj Sanjay Mule, 25, at the time of the incident. They had driven to the area in their car with the intention of capturing footage for a social media reel.

Tragedy struck as Shweta was reversing the vehicle when an unexpected mishap occurred. The car slipped, causing unintended pressure on the accelerator, leading to the vehicle overturning and plunging into the valley below. Shweta tragically succumbed to her injuries on the spot and was pronounced dead.
In response to the accident, the Khultabad Police promptly carried out a panchnama at the scene. Furthermore, they have requested the presence of the deceased’s and her friend’s family members for further investigation into the tragic incident.
Meanwhile in Mumbai, a separate incident resulted in the loss of two lives on Sunday when a speeding chemical tanker collided with a scooter on the National Park Bridge on Mumbai’s Western Express Highway. The tanker driver has been apprehended by Kasturba Marg Police for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
The collision occurred when the tanker rear-ended a Suzuki Burgman scooter on the southbound side of the National Park Bridge in Borivali (East) on Sunday afternoon.
The victims, who were close friends from Bhayander East, were en route to purchase clothing for a friend when the tragic accident occurred. Both individuals sustained severe head injuries.
