Authorities in Toronto are currently on the lookout for two individuals in connection with a homicide investigation following a tragic altercation that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old boy.
According to reports, the incident took place in the Glendower Circuit and Birchmount Road area, prompting a swift response from law enforcement officers who were called to the scene just before 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Law enforcement officials have revealed that two suspects were allegedly involved in the altercation, with one of them reportedly fleeing the area on foot while the other made their escape in a white SUV.
The victim, who has been identified as Kayelin Rider-Downey, was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Although the suspects remain at large, descriptions provided by witnesses indicate that one of them is a Black male seen wearing a red hat and red shirt, while the other individual, also a Black male, was clad in a black hoodie.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
