The incident took place at Wheaton and Aberdeen streets, with the Savannah Police Department responding to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. The victim, a 37-year-old man, sustained a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was promptly transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment.
