Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A 30-year-old man was convicted Wednesday of brutally murdering two women on October 7, 2019, in Cape Coral, Florida.

Wade Wilson has been convicted of two counts of first-degree premeditated murder in the slayings of 35-year-old Kristine Melton and 43-year-old Diane Ruiz, as reported by the New York Post.

A recent photo of Wilson shows his numerous facial tattoos, including one resembling a swastika and another resembling stitches across his mouth.

Wilson, now facing the possibility of the death penalty, had admitted to multiple individuals that he strangled the two women to death.

As per a Cape Coral police official, regardless of the jury’s decision on the penalty phase, Wilson will not be walking the streets again. “An animal like this needs to be put away,” the official added.

On the day of the tragic events, Wilson had taken Melton home after a bar visit, where he proceeded to strangle her and tie her up. Subsequently, Ruiz was reported missing, with Wilson confessing to his father that he had encountered her for directions and then proceeded to strangle her, throw her out of the vehicle, and run over her body multiple times until she was unrecognizable.

An image from 2019 shows Wilson with only a neck tattoo, alongside pictures of the victims in the case.

Shortly after the killings, Wilson was seen at a local business in Melton’s car, exhibiting disturbing behaviors. He then broke into a home to hide before finally calling his father, confessing in an alarming manner.

When questioned about his motives, Wilson callously stated, “I just wanted to do it,” as per a prosecutor.

Aside from murder charges, Wilson was also found guilty of grand theft, burglary of a dwelling, battery, and petit theft.

The state is now pursuing the death penalty, with Wilson set to undergo examination by doctors before the penalty phase commences on June 20.
