Authorities in Odessa, Texas have arrested two individuals in connection with the shooting death of a man in the 1800 block of Newcomb. The incident, which took place at approximately 3:39 p.m., has left the community in shock.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a trail of blood leading to a house where two individuals, identified as 18-year-old Brayden Roupp and a 16-year-old white female, were exiting. Both suspects were detained and taken into custody. Inside the residence, officers found the victim, a male, who had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the detained individuals were involved in the shooting. One of the suspects confessed to the act, leading to both individuals being charged with Murder in the 1st Degree. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
