The victim, identified as Prithika, was allegedly strangled to death by her mother, Ramya, at their residence in Subramanyapura, Banashankari, south Bengaluru.
The tragic incident took place on Thursday afternoon, as reported by the Times of India. Initial investigations revealed that Ramya used a dupatta to strangle her daughter, Prithika. Following the heinous act, Ramya contacted her brother-in-law and informed him about the situation. Subsequently, her brother-in-law advised her to rush Prithika to a nearby hospital, but the doctors declared the child dead upon arrival.

Upon being alerted by the hospital staff, the police arrived at the medical facility and arrested Ramya. During questioning, Ramya confessed to the crime, stating that she killed Prithika due to her autism.
