Authorities in Augusta, Georgia are on the lookout for Brandon Alexander Francis, a 17-year-old suspect in a shooting incident that took place over the weekend on Monte Carlo Drive. The incident occurred around 12:10 a.m. on Sunday in the 3400 block of Monte Carlo Drive, according to information provided by deputies.

Initial reports indicated that deputies were dispatched to a convenience store located at 3771 Peach Orchard Road. However, they soon learned that the victim, a 21-year-old individual, had been transported to a hospital in a private vehicle.

The victim was eventually located just after 12:30 a.m. at Fifth and Broad streets, where he was then taken to a hospital for treatment.

Law enforcement officials have released a photograph of Brandon Alexander Francis, describing him as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 126 pounds. Francis is known to frequent the Hephzibah area and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The location where the victim was discovered, Fifth and Broad streets, is just a few blocks away from a recent shooting incident that unfolded around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday.

During the earlier incident, a confrontation between individuals resulted in gunfire erupting on a crowded sidewalk at 10th and Broad streets, causing panic among bystanders and patrons of nearby establishments. Deputies intervened by apprehending one suspect, who, along with his sibling, was later taken into custody.
