Harris County – Constables rushed to a home in Northwest Harris County following a distress call about a snake discovered in the house. The caller, in a state of panic, reported that the snake had taken refuge under their baby’s bed, while the child was peacefully asleep.

Upon their arrival at the residence on the 4200 block of Brookhead Trail, the constables swiftly assessed the situation and successfully removed the snake from the premises. The snake, measuring approximately 5 inches in length, was identified as a nonlethal species.

The timely and effective response from the constables not only ensured the safety of the child but also provided much-needed reassurance to the concerned parents.
