BENGALURU: Authorities investigating a house break-in at Parappana Agrahara have made a shocking discovery – three minors, including a young girl, were involved in the crime.

It has been revealed that the girl convinced her two friends to participate in the burglary of her own home. The motive behind the crime was reportedly the girl’s resentment towards her family, who she felt treated her unfairly. In retaliation, she and her accomplices planned and executed the robbery.

After thorough investigation, the police apprehended the minors and recovered 380 grams of gold ornaments valued at over Rs 25 lakh. This is just one of the many successful operations carried out by the Bengaluru police recently.

Auto Driver Arrested for Gold Chain Theft

In a separate incident, a 40-year-old auto driver named Imran Khan was arrested on June 7 for his involvement in a gold chain theft in Konankunte police limits. Khan, a resident of Electronic City originally from Chikkamagaluru, was known for targeting bus stands and jewellery shops in the area. Following a complaint, the police managed to recover 235 grams of gold chains worth over Rs 16 lakh from Khan. He was found to have a criminal record with 12 cases registered against him at various police stations.

Chain Theft Gang Apprehended

Kumaraswamy Layout police successfully captured four suspects, including two women, who were part of a gang targeting elderly women for chain theft. The group consisted of Babu (45) and Hussain (52) from Chitradurga, and Dadapeer (32) and Gulab Jaan (40) from Davanagere, all residents of Kumaraswamy Layout. The arrests were made following a complaint from an elderly woman who lost her gold chain at Banashankari temple. The police managed to recover 174 grams of gold chains valued at over Rs 11 lakh from the culprits.

Bike Thief Apprehended

Furthermore, Pulikeshi Nagar police successfully arrested a bike thief who had stolen four bikes, three of which were taken from a railway station and one from Pulikeshi Nagar police limits. The thief’s spree came to an end when authorities apprehended him and recovered the stolen vehicles.

Overall, the recent efforts of the Bengaluru police have resulted in the arrest of multiple suspects involved in various theft cases, leading to the recovery of valuable items and ensuring justice is served.
