In a heartbreaking incident in the bustling city of Karachi, a 10-year-old boy tragically ended his own life using his father’s licensed pistol after his plea was turned down, as reported by Express News.
The young boy succumbed to a fatal gunshot wound at his residence in the Ghaghar Phatak area of the city. His lifeless body was swiftly taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal procedures.
According to local police official Hussain Pirzada, the boy took his own life using his father’s licensed pistol.
It was revealed that the boy’s unmet request to his father drove him to retrieve the pistol from his father’s bag and terminate his existence.
Further investigations are currently underway by the police to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
MOTHER FATALLY SHOOTS TEENAGE SON
In a separate distressing event, the lifeless bodies of a woman and her teenage son were discovered in their residence in Karachi’s Orangi Town, as reported by The News on Wednesday.
Upon receiving the distressing news, law enforcement and rescue teams rushed to the house in Altaf Nagar and transferred the bodies to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased were identified as 30-year-old Tania, wife of Qurban Ali, and her 13-year-old son, Muhammad Khan.
Initial investigations by the police suggested that Tania fatally shot her son before taking her own life. The motive behind this tragic incident remains unknown.
The husband of the deceased woman provided a statement to the police, indicating that his wife committed suicide after shooting their son for reasons that are yet to be clarified.
The police confirmed that the weapon used in the incident was retrieved and sent to the forensic division for analysis. No formal case has been registered at this point.
