In a devastating turn of events, a couple lost their lives in a fatal car accident while their 7-year-old son sustained critical injuries. The incident took place at Radar Centre near Nendragunta village on the Puthalapattu-Naidupeta NH in Chandragiri mandal of Tirupati district on Wednesday.
The victims, identified as Suresh Goyal (35) and Jyothi Goyal (30) from Lucknow, were en route to Vellore in Tamil Nadu at the time of the collision. Tragically, the impact of the collision with a container lorry resulted in the immediate demise of the couple. Their young son was quickly transported to the SVRR Government Hospital in Tirupati for urgent medical attention. The authorities have initiated an investigation, and a case has been officially registered regarding the incident.
Additional Incident Involving Nandyal Couple
On the same day, another distressing incident occurred when a couple and their driver sustained severe injuries due to driver fatigue. The couple, identified as Kumaraswamy (62) and Jayalakshmi (56) from Allagadda in Nandyal district, were involved in an accident at Mudivedu village in Kurabalakota mandal of Annamayya district.
The couple had fallen asleep at the wheel, leading to a dangerous situation that resulted in their critical injuries. They were promptly taken to the District Hospital in Madanapalle for medical treatment. Law enforcement authorities have taken note of the incident and have filed a case in connection with the accident.
