A man has been apprehended in Washington D.C. for pilfering over $3800 worth of goods from various CVS outlets in the Northwest region. The majority of the stolen items happen to be cans of the energy drink Red Bull.
The suspect, identified as 58-year-old Darryl Lamond Quander, is facing charges for 19 counts of second-degree theft. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, Quander targeted multiple CVS stores in D.C., with Red Bull being his preferred item to steal. - On February 26, 2024, from the CVS on the 1400 block of P Street, Northwest, Quander stole $413 worth of Red Bull
- On February 27, 2024, from the CVS on the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, he took $57.45 of Red Bull
- On March 2, 2024, from the CVS on the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, he grabbed $140.00 of Red Bull
- On March 4, 2024, from the CVS on the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, he snatched $150 worth of Red Bull
- On March 5, 2024, from the CVS on the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, he made off with $123 of Red Bull
- On March 13, 2024, from the CVS on the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, he stole $100 worth of Red Bull
- On March 21, 2024, from the CVS on the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, he swiped $215 of Red Bull
