Potomac Mills : “Teens Robbed in Public Bathroom: Shocking Incident Sparks Fear”

An armed robbery incident took place at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, VA on Thursday afternoon, leading to a swift police response. The victim, a 16-year-old male, was accompanied by two female juveniles in a public restroom when the robbery unfolded.

During the incident, one of the female juveniles allowed two male individuals to enter the restroom. One of these males then restrained the victim and brandished a firearm, ultimately robbing him of his possessions. Fortunately, the victim managed to break free and promptly alerted the authorities.

Law enforcement officials have successfully recovered all stolen items, with the exception of a pair of shoes. It is suspected that all parties involved were acquainted with each other, suggesting that the robbery was not a random occurrence. As of now, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident.

In a separate incident, a domestic disturbance at the Westgate Apartments in Ashland Ave, Manassas, VA, resulted in the alleged abduction of a 22-year-old woman by Abner Edgardo De Lao. Law enforcement responded to the escalating situation, leading to De Lao’s arrest for charges including abduction, domestic assault and battery, and obstruction of justice.

De Lao, 23, is currently held without bond pending a court date. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the altercation, and police were able to detain De Lao without further incident.
