The victim of a fatal shooting on Benning Road, N.E. has been identified as 45-year-old Darryl Williams. The incident occurred on Friday, June 7, when officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 1700 block of Benning Road, N.E. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim had been shot multiple times.
Tragically, the victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital. D.C. Police are now asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect linked to the shooting.
Surveillance Footage Captures Person of Interest
Surveillance cameras in the area captured a person of interest who is believed to be connected to the fatal shooting. The police have released a photo of the individual and are urging anyone who recognizes him to come forward with information.
