Ivan Ramirez : Juvenile charged in fatal Houston shooting | Texas

HOUSTON, Texas — A 15-year-old suspect has been charged with capital murder in connection with the tragic shooting death of 42-year-old Ivan Ramirez at 14155 Fayridge Drive on March 31.

The juvenile suspect has been handed over to the Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities to face the serious charge of capital murder. Ramirez, who was shot multiple times, was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition following the incident. Unfortunately, Ramirez succumbed to his injuries on April 17.

According to witnesses, Ramirez confronted an individual who was allegedly trying to steal his truck when he was shot. Subsequent investigation led to the identification of the teenage suspect as the perpetrator, ultimately resulting in his arrest on June 6.
