Timothy Hoffman : “Dad Dies During Daughter’s Memorial Ride”

A memorial motorcycle ride meant to honor the life of an Alaskan teenager brutally murdered by her best friend ended in tragedy last week after the victim’s father died in a crash.

Timothy Hoffman, 58, tragically lost his life after losing control of his motorcycle while riding through the city of Wasilla on June 2, according to Alaska State Troopers.

His wife, Jeannie Hoffman, who was riding on the back of the motorcycle, was also injured in the crash. Jeannie, wearing a full-face helmet, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after sustaining a head injury. A family member shared with Inside Edition Digital that Jeannie is now in stable condition but continues to battle severe head trauma.

The couple was participating in the fifth annual CeCe Celebration Ride for Justice, dedicated to honoring Hoffman’s 19-year-old daughter Cynthia “CeCe” Hoffman. The ride included a stop at Thunderbird Falls, the location where CeCe was tragically murdered by a group of teenagers, including her former best friend.

Hoffman leaves behind his wife Jeannie, four daughters Samantha, Kimberly, Sydney Hoffman, Ryah Jenkins, and three sons Timothy S Hoffman Jr. II, Alex, and Jared Lopez. He is preceded in death by his daughter CeCe and son Timothy S. Hoffman Jr.

In a poignant Facebook post made just hours before his passing, Hoffman expressed gratitude for the strength to guide his family through their loss and thanked the Lord for bringing them together for the ride in honor of CeCe.

Tributes continue to pour in for Hoffman, and a GoFundMe page created by his brother Gregory aims to raise funds for a memorial service.

This year’s ride was intended to be a celebration of life following the conviction and sentencing of Denali Dakota Skye Brehmer, the mastermind behind CeCe’s murder, orchestrated after being offered a substantial sum of money for the act.

Brehmer and her accomplice Kayden McIntosh were the last individuals to see Hoffman alive, according to the criminal complaint filed in the case.

McIntosh admitted to authorities that CeCe began to panic and threatened to contact the police, prompting him to shoot her and dispose of her body in a river. The disturbing details of the case shed light on the heinous nature of the crime.

The tragic loss of CeCe Hoffman has left a lasting impact on her family and community, with justice being sought for her untimely death. The developments in the case underscore the importance of standing up against senseless acts of violence and seeking accountability for those responsible.
