Authorities in California City have identified the suspect involved in the tragic shooting incident at a local McDonald’s restaurant. The incident took place on May 29th, just after 12:30 PM, and the suspect has been named as 26-year-old Cameron Rashad Hill.

Following the shooting at the McDonald’s located on California City Blvd. and Hacienda, police responded to the scene and found a customer, identified as 48-year-old Maurice Bailey, with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by emergency services, Bailey succumbed to his injuries at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster.

Through witness testimonies and surveillance footage, investigators were able to determine that Hill was the prime suspect in the case. It was reported that Hill fled the scene following the shooting, and his current whereabouts remain unknown.

A manhunt has been launched by California City Police and other law enforcement agencies to apprehend Hill, with an arrest warrant issued for his capture. Officials believe Hill to be within the Antelope Valley area and urge anyone with information on his location to contact Sergeant Rivera at 760-373-8606. The public is advised to exercise caution as Hill is considered armed and dangerous.
