MARIANNA, Ark. — A Marianna couple is facing charges of first-degree murder in relation to the tragic death of a 30-year-old woman from Lexa.
The Arkansas State Police’s Criminal Investigation Division apprehended Dodge Pinegar, aged 24, and Shadee Edgin, aged 30, on June 7, 2024, in connection with the demise of Ashley Monroe, aged 30, from Lexa.
Following a request from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Arkansas State Police commenced an investigation into the homicide case on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
The discovery of the victim’s body was made by a local farmer who stumbled upon it on a farm road off Lee County Road 706, situated to the north of Marianna. The woman was later identified as Ashley Monroe, hailing from Lexa.
