Accident – Death – Obituary News : In a disturbing incident that took place in Chennai’s Saligramam, a 15-year-old schoolgirl fell victim to a horrific crime last month. Shockingly, the young girl was raped by two men at a birthday party, with the assistance of a woman who spiked her drink. The victim’s family became aware of the crime when the minor girl began experiencing severe abdominal pain and confided in her sister. Promptly, the family reported the incident to the authorities, leading to the arrest of a woman named Pratisha Akira and her accomplice, Somesh, a college student. Notably, Akira is known to work as a junior artist in films.
Authorities are currently in pursuit of the third accused, identified as Williams. According to police reports, the victim, who is a student in Class 11, initially met Pratisha at a coffee shop in Anna Nagar. Subsequently, the accused woman invited the young girl to her apartment to celebrate her birthday. During the celebration, Akira, Somesh, and Williams spiked the girl’s drink, rendering her unconscious. It was during this vulnerable state that both men proceeded to rape her. Upon regaining consciousness the following morning, the victim realised the harrowing ordeal she had endured. The woman, Akira, then threatened the girl to keep silent about the incident.
Pratisha further warned the young girl of potential harm from her associates if she dared to involve the authorities. Despite the initial silence, the victim eventually confided in her older sister after experiencing persistent stomach pains. Subsequently, she was rushed to the hospital for medical attention, and her family wasted no time in lodging a formal complaint with the police. The local Virugambakkam All Women Police Station took swift action, initiating an investigation into the matter. As a result, Pratisha and Somesh were apprehended for questioning, while efforts are underway to locate the third accused, Williams.
