JENNINGS, Mo. – Homicide detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are actively investigating a tragic incident that occurred at Koeneman Park last Friday. The shooting resulted in the death of one man and left four others injured.

According to Sgt. Tracy Panus, a spokesperson for the county police, the shooting took place shortly after 5 p.m. on June 7 in the park, located near the 2600 block of Shannon Avenue.

Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered a deceased male victim who was later identified as Terrance Lambert, aged 28.

Additionally, four other adult males sustained gunshot wounds during the incident. While their injuries were not considered life-threatening, they were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Authorities have indicated that the shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence, suggesting that the individuals involved may have been targeted.
